The GTR & XU-1 club is having it's run on Sunday the 24th. Does anyone want to tag along ? Just bring some grub and beverages. We are going to O'Sheas Crossing which is on the Brisbane River on the Esk/ Kicoy road between Wivenhoe and Somerset Dams I think. If you want to go they are meeting at Woolworths Shopping Centre, Yamanto at 9:00am for a 9:30 departure. Travel via the Brisbane Valley Highway to Fernvale where there will be a stop for morning tea. Approx five km north of Fernvale, turn right onto Wivenhoe-Somerset Road. When reaching the Esk-Kilcoy Road turn left towards Esk, then right into Cooeeimbardi Road. Lake Wivenhoe and the park is on the left.
Just say you heard it on the grapevine.I won't be meeting them there, I'll be travelling from Toowoomba up the New England, hook a right at Hampton down to Esk hook a left drive a few ks then turn right into Kilcoy / Esk road and it's up there 14 ks or so.
A catch up would be good , that's if you want to, not trying to pressure anyone but come on over.
