It's been too long since our last cruise.

Need to arrange one. Any suggestions/ideas?

To be honest I really don't care, as long as we are out and about.
We could even allow Mustangs for those ex-patriots ;)

There is a mint pizza shop in Belgrave with automotive shit all over the walls and stuff like that + awesome bar with huge range of amazing beers a few doors down if you wanted to end up there in an evening?

I go there with a group of car mates every couple of weeks. I realise that ain't particularly handy for Grant.

I'm down for something.

I have recently moved to Melbourne and would be keen to take the Torana for a run.

.I've been to both places Heath mentioned, they are cool as.

Also Peninsula Link BP near Baxter on a Saturday night is good, with a good turnout of cars, but not as hectic as Eastlink.

It's clear than whatever is chosen will be unable to please all. I think something needs to be chosen and then whoever is able makes it.

Let's sort a date first. I'm happy with Sunday's (I like Mustangs too :) )

Hi Daz

See if Dale's free as well when you come up with a date? I can make Saturdays as long as it's a mid afternoon meet. Something mid afternoon, have tea together, then roll into something on a Saturday night would be awesome.

Hi Wayno,

Dale has moved to the states mate. His stang still lives here though and he cruises about when he's over here.

OK, I like your Saturday arvo/night plan - a lot!

So that's what we will do.

How does Saturday 6th Feb sit with everyone? It's only 9 days away but sooner the better in my book.

Moved to the States wow. Tell him I said hi.

6th of Feb should be ok with me provided my water pump replacement goes smoothly next week. Anyone know of any car events on the night of the 6th?

Those SBF water pumps can be a BITCH.

The frOcking bolts seize as a few of the outer ones sit in the inner housing surrounded by coolant and rust up. Good luck!

6th it is! No idea of car events but let's see what's offered up

Yeah I looked at that a few nights ago but didnt know about the bolts rusting up. Maybe I should just take it to my mechanic.

This might be worth considering.

Had a look at the bolts today and most of them were only a bit tighter than finger tight. I'll tackle the job myself on Tuesday.

This might be worth considering.

I'm up for the 6Th. It would be day time for me, i will need to get home late arvo early evening. I've got something on Friday night, then all day saturday, so getting a leave pass on Saturday for the day should be doable, but for the night aswell I would be pushing it.

That makes three, are you other guys in??

Awesome. Top crew already :)

Let's keep it fluid. Grant can come to the day bit (cruise somewhere etc) then he can shoot off whenever he needs to and the rest can push on with phase 2.

Now where are we headed?

Doesn't matter. Nominate a meeting place and a destination and we can do it. Folks can join in along the way as it suits them etc.

I'm cool with whatever

I might be looking to take the Mustang to a shop near Dandenong who specializes in tuning these old engines late next Sat morning some time. From there i'll move to the meeting point. The weather looks like its going to be ideal. I'm gonna look like the 3rd wheel but anyway :) price you pay for owning a Ford I guess

Took the water pump off today with no problems. Waiting on some new bolts to be delivered then i'll be installing the new water pump. Barring a catastrophe I should be good to go.

Go to your local bolt shop and pick up the bolts.
Last one I changed out they had them in stock.

You got lucky having no dramas getting it off. They are a prick.
