Things Geno taught us at the nationals
1. Hatch backs with out flares are not real SS's
2. A9X's only came in two door
3. UC's are not real Torana's
4. Don't buy a cartoon of cider cos you have to dispose of 14 stubbies Momday morning

There were more but can't remember at the moment

Getting back on topic I would like to thank the Canberra Torana Club for putting up a top show. I had a great day well organised, entertaining and finished at a reasonable time.

The other thing I noticed is the level of quality and attention to detail going into some LC/LJ GTRs.

Unfortunately this can't be said about the LH/LX brigade you buy you flare and put a bonnet scoop on (there was a LX SLR 4.2ltr that was amazing though).

Yep great weekend. Car behaved itself for most of it. Well done to the CTC for putting on a great show.

Very well run event and great venue.
​Hats off to the CTC.

I had one casualty heading back to Canberra after the show.

about 95 km/h on that hwy we did on the cruise and the wing mirror

just dropped off. (well sort of flew for a little while)

 

Daughter and I had a good laugh. luckily it did not hit the cars behind.

broke into 2. half went south. half went north.

 

thread in the hole is completely munted.
