2 space savers = happy days mate lol, although with a Ls3 they could be pretty wide & still toast them easy as ! Sounds pretty fun to try some space savers actually ha ha.

I would be very nervous about putting 2 different size tyres on the back with the lsd mate, I've seen a few chew to pieces because of this. Those Nissan turbo hair dressers car's insist that you do not do it because it'll wreck the diff. Gary.

Gene, the liquimoly is around the same amount, if you check your oil drum, see if it contains zinc ? "Can" have bad circumstances with oxygen sensors. I'm not saying definitely, but it certainly can, also not meant for roller cam engines ask johno for his opinion on the stuff & please don't run thicker than a 5-30 mate. 5-40 hpr 5 maximum, which I'd nearly bet your using has a purple label, used in Hondas ect. Maybe just save it & use it in your torana Gene. & maybe even run some nulon in your Ls3 contains moly, Aussie made slightly cheaper, just wanted to help you mate, Gary.

Hi Gene, just re read about your oil capacity, i didn't realize that the Ls3 in a holden, was holding 7.5 litres, about time, the pisily little 5.1 litres in a ls1 sort of scares me. I put in 5.6 litres every time, will be more when i fit the oil cooler to the ss, i must remember to do that job soon. Gary.

Sorry, I went to bed.

186 rods are the same as 202 rods, there all the same the only difference is the early ones, then the blue/black/starfire rods, but all the dimensions are the same.

The 186 ran a taller compression height on the piston than the 202, rods were identical.

If your only turning to 5500rpm or so, the red motor rods will be plenty strong enough, and due to being lighter theres less reciprocating mass = less vibes.

Thanks bomber, probably turn to 6,000 max would did you think of the specs on the CT 35 528 a camtech camshaft for this engine, i know that you favour solid cams. & any advantage of running a 1.6 rocker on the inlet ? Or a waste of time in your opinion please ? Gary,

Would these tuned length duel headers be
better than the tri y's?

And a stupid question could they b joined by
another collector to form a single 2.25 2.5
pipe etc.

They are long primaries, but would be nice to know how long. The secondaries could be lengthened as required. Not to badly priced.

I was a little disappointed with my hm9c's when they turned up and found they aren't mandrel bent... So yes they are 1/5/8 primaries but certainly arent that where they are bent on turns. Torque/power increase seat of pants test is a thumbs up though.

It depends on what duration the cam is + a few other engine specs, but generally 15-20" long.

If you consider the exhaust centres of the Red  Six,

from port  #1 to #6 equals 23 inches,

they are decently at least 30 inch primaries.
