Good to know. My hm9c's got some tweaking in spots to fit my lj rather than tweaking the car itself

Hello all,
was thinking how to build a square to round extractor manifold using fabricated tubes:-
http://www.geocities...works/Works.htm
to optimize the area of a square, and transform to the area of round nicely.
Then I thought of using a thick piece of steel doing the same job,
and found they are on the market for other models as adapters etc, at 3/8" thick, hmm:-

I imagine a 9 port head, 3/8" thick steel flat-bar, square to round area port matching,
and weld on 1 5/8" exhaust tubing to round exhaust ports.

Hi all, the extractors I have at present (30 something year old hurricanes I think) never cleared the heat shield on my triple 1.75 CD's. What's the recommended current day option for street use that will clear the heat shield? Those last one's pictures from the Rodshop don't look like they would clear the rear carbie. I am running a standard XU1 manifold.

old thread but anyone compared 6-2 to a 6-3 with comparably sized pipes?
