Banksia road address is Defo the same Phil Lowe .. He was kicked out for unpaid rent and moved to Welshpool before he was evicted from there and went to Pratt court.
There's another Phil Lowe who owns b restored .. That's a different guy, lovely guy whose work is good.

Because the laws here are a disgrace.
He gets lawyers involved to silence victims .. He's done this for years.
His lawyer threatened me with defamation etc back in January ... I ended up humiliating the lawyer.
Defamation is only successful when what is said is lies. I don't need to lie so I'll stick with the facts and get the info out there.
They promptly dropped the threat of $20 000 defamation claim when I said bring it the fk on.
Many others don't know how the legal system
Works and they are threatened into silence.
This is why he continues destroying cars.
I will spend $100 000 if I have to and push the pr!ck all the way. He will never touch another car when I'm done with him ;-)

and i do feel for you because you have paid a lot of money for a shit job
if the law cant help you sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands

I couldn't agree more Ice .. As much as I wanted to deliver what I'd call a more "suitable retribution" ... I'm baring in mind the other owners going thru the process trying to recoup some $$.
I'm now well versed in the motor vehicle regs and am gunning for revoking of his license and immediate baring as a director of any company again as he's not what they deem a "fit and proper person" as such ..
Once the legal process is done for the bulk of victims and all
Complaints under consumer protection are dealt with .. Then i predict he will have substantial problems with his knees and possibly wrists and fingers ...
However it turns out ... He won't be doing this again.
I'm slowly tracking down the other owners whose cars are in his incompetent hands ;-)

I'm still not convinced this is my original car .. Gut instinct aside .. There are several obvious fk ups and changes that he wouldn't really be on to like there mopar clan !
My rear wheel arches had Ali trim ... The trim is gone and the bottom of the arches have been rolled .. To accomodate fat tyres at some point which mine has never had. There's no screw holes under the arches where the trim should sit, no big either.
Number stamped in engine bay matches compliance plate and rego papers .. No obvious signs of welding etc but I'm still not convinced this is mine.
I was told how pitting develops ..
Where the pitting is rife, I had no rust and no need for bog or fillers .. Especially in the drivers side pillar ?!! It's going to have to be stripped again to see wtf has happened and confirm if it's my car :-/

How crazy, you take your car to get restored and turns into a Nitemare, hope the lady gets it sorted.
Not uncommon for resto jobs to turn into a nightmare for the owner or the restorer. Usually differences in perceptions of expectations and reality.
That said, the subject of this thread is a horror story.

Thanks guys for being supportive.
Even though I'm a girl (haha!) I really didn't have deluded or excessive expectations of my coupe and cost.
My original coupe was a beauty ... Almost no substantial repairs or damage .. The worst was the 2 rust spots below the rear window which are typical of coupes chargers etc .. The rest of the old girl was exceptional for a then 44 year old car.
It really was a restorers dream to do... Easy job for someone who knew what they were doing and a client willing to pay whatever was needed to get it done right. I'm not a whiner or nutcase .. I just wanted it sparkling like the day she rolled off the production line. The saddest part is she was 3/4 of the way there untouched prior to this scumbag raping her :-/
I cannot understand how someone can work in this industry and destory the cars we are trying to preserve ... I've seen greed do some crazy things to people but this exceeds the lowest of Lowes ( pardon the pun!!)

8 years ago I put my faith in PhilLowe to restore my car the one thing he does well is con people he told me he would do everything for a total of $35.000 after 3 months and $11.000 he decided to put my car back into my storage unit in maddington he said in an e-mail to me that I had broken our contract by stopping monthly payments to him because he hadfailed 3 times to send me photos of work completed every time I know contact him to try to get my moneyback he sends the police around stating that I am harrassing and threatening him This person preys on anyone he thinks he can get money out of and bleed them dry
