It would take most of the day by the time he stopped to get his nails done and his eyebrows plucked.

Yeah that is damn sweet, and love that it has a proper trans.

I can tell you right now that it would be slower with an auto, no doubt about it. Remember all of the quick small engined cars (think 6 and 7 second sport compact cars as seen at Jamboree) run these clutchless manual boxes.

I am very interested in this car...

A few things, its running 2 inch SUs, the engine looks like its set back a few inches (could be wrong on that but thats what it looks like).

It would most likely be running meth but the SUs look to be HS8s, which I didnt think would have the volume in the fuel bowls to cope with METH?

Also, I would bet that the owner is probably a member of this forum, and they are just sitting back keeping quiet and smiling at all us monkeys trying to work out how they have achieved what they have!

Still impressive none the less. Bloke at work is a fffford fanatic who owns a xr6 turbo and is always bragging about how quick it is,told him about this  202 n/a Torrie, didn't believe me untill I showed him the vid, went very quiet, snicker snicker, made my day.

This is like the holy grail of "six cylinder owners clasping at straws that their car is fast" threads.

A six that actually could compete against a fully worked, fully sic V8. At the track.

And it's built by some hillbilly ?

A hillbilly that hasn't harnessed the awesome power of the Internet to seek out the expert views of 6 banger experts on this forum ?

How the frOck did he do that ?

calculator says that 10.27 second quarter mile is 330hp at 825 kg's in weight. :)

or a combination of higher HP and weight.

plus the stick shifting ability as shown.

edit:-

be nice to know what rubber was used on the rims,

and what the rim weight was too.

I do know that 5 kg rim's are around the lightest,

compared to the normal one's at around 10 kg's each.

( all to do with spooling up, more weight = slower )
