Hi all,

I'm dropping a LS1 into a LJ.  One of the challenges in feeding the motor with fuel.  I was thinking I would adapt a standard commodore pump and bucket to the torana tank.  I'll probably just buy a repro xu1 tank as a start.

I spoke to our transport dept. and they said no flexible fuel hoses allowed in the boot under pressure.  Was thinking if I adapt the commodore EFI pump, I would need metal fuel lines and quick disconnect connectors at the pump.

Anyone got any tips ?

Thanks

Peter.

Have you looked at the Aeromotive in tank pumps?
Had one running an LS7 in a HT Monaro no problems at all.

Thanks for the info.  Thats exactly what I was looking at.  Have you got the facebook link - might contact the guy to get some tips.

Those metal lines look big and bulky - kinda looking for a solution where I can still use my boot space.
