Hi all

not that i have the car yet im wanting to fix things on it already, when you wind the window down (both rear) then wind it back up it dosent follow the window seal and leans into the car so when you wind it up you have to press your hand against it to get it to go up properly.

cheers gump

Sounds like the rubber (bailey channel?) bit doesn't extend far enough down into the track...there could also be an alignment issue...if you pull the door trim off all will be revealed..a bit of tighening and greasing will sort it i am sure.

Id say fastEH is right!

Rare Spares sell kits for bailey channels and also repair kits if the winder mechanism is buggered..

Cheers!

Sounds like it's missing an inner door belt (rubber strip along inner side top of door). Also check alignment of rear window divider/runner.

Sounds like the channel/rail that holds the window in place as you wind it down is not tight enough...could be rubbers have worn too......but try tightening them up, there will be a bolt under the door trim where you can adjust them.

take the door trim and hardware off and make sure all the bolts that hold the regulater in place are tight and not slipping up and down.
