Now now. No need to be like that just cos you went to the Ipswich car meet to check out the vn's but there were none there.
You know Logan is full of them I don't see why you're getting all bent out of shape.

I have always wondered if there is a reason why everyone puts the covers on backwards, some sort of attempt to get some air in there? Or is it just that 3 out of 4 Commodore owners are backwards?Fuel rail covers are on irish

I think ugliness of vn ss is what makes them stand out better lol.
Wanted a s2 white vn ss or Walky..somehow I ended up with genuine vn group a...car was nothing but trouble.
That yellow handbrake wire been molested, wrong plug....no biggie
Fuel rail covers are on irish though & coil bolts to back of engine on these.
Power pack is that series 2 seats & power-windows or steel calais/hsv headers, knock sensor & 180 kw memcal?
Fuel rail covers backwards ?
Power pack is just the Windows. It's 5/91 so has series 2 seats.... I believe they were in from 5/90...

Yes, I know it's a gee up. Surprised your "slow six owners" app doesn't auto filter pictures of proper engines

So I attempted to fix it:
Realising the error of my ways, against a formidable opponent, I decided to restore the rear screen to its former glory.
After many hours moving the heavy, full steel guard a little further up the car and a couple of litres of windex later, voila.
Factory restored rear screen. (The hand prints are inside, that's part of the interior resto(stay tuned)).
Well,? That's enough on the resto for now, time for a beer (the last carton of pure blonde I will ever buy).

There is an Atlas Grey VN SS auto parked under a carport about 750m from me. Been there for on 10 years now - I tried to buy it for the engine for my HZ Overlander (that was a Cross 8 and 2 x SR5's ago!) but he was "going to fix it up one day". Might give it another crack Skap and then we can have matching cars! There is a VP SS parked with a cover over it another 750m past that one, been there like that for a good 2-3 months now. Was shiny before the cover went on, it is dark blue from memory. There is a red VN SS around here somewhere too, a HSV enhanced one (180kW engine) just sitting unused. Will have to try to remember where that one is.

It was only 20 years ago not many people wanted HK-HG Monaros either. I was buying one every few months for chicken feed. I bought a pair of GTS350's for $250 in the mid 1990's. People will want SS's especially the early ones just like top of the model range 1970's Holden and Torana are wanted today.
