it is an LH SLR/5000
,it runs a mild 308 4 speed toploader with a poxy vertical gate shifter(crap)and a 9in with 4.11 mini spool,hotwires 14x8 and14x91/2.
i guess a few people would have seen it on ebay,luckily i did not pay for it ,i traded another car i had for it .
i will post some pics of the ugly duckling shortly,(and i do mean ugly............(ahhhhhhhhh its good to be back in a square car again)

upon closer inspection (after removing valve covers)
this is what i found,yella terra rollers Ls4 guide plates and buttons,as well as springs that resemble the isky 6005a with hardened retainers,inlet manifold is an edelbrock torker(yee haa) that seems to have thoroghly massaged,it also has an bosh electronic dizzy with an ignition developement sticker on it,alsowritten in white texta on the heater box are the no 28 degrees 38 total,as for the bottom end including cam??????????????????????///////who nose it has a large output shaft toploader ,clutch again who knows hydraulic application,hurst vertical gate shifter(for sale) 9in not 4.11.but 3.9 with a spool.......will let you know more as we progress any way here are some pics i hope......

Rollcage looks tough, wheels look tough, top end sounds tough, driveline is appropriately selected IMO and by crikey when's she gonna be at some Cruises?

remove and replace every bolt on pannel eg
doors
bonnet
boot
nose cone
front guards
bolt ons and spoilers everything going inthe dumpster
i guess i need to cut out the rear wheel wells as 15x13 wont fit (more surgery)
i just want a nice plain ride except i really want to tub it,
so thats what i plan to do,plan to start as soon as the 2 mustangs are finished

i think that the guy who built it originally was a butcher
anyway new shifter going in tommorow as well as a new floor
if any body wants the old vertical gate 150.00 and it yours
interstate freight free
