Hmm, I have a 4" offset so you'd probably be in a better position than me. I have about 20mm or so to the chassis rail lip on the inside but not much room to the guard lips, which are already rolled. I might just get some 235's and have a measure to see how close it is and then get the 245's next time if they'll fit.mine have a 4 1/2 inch ofset and 245.s would probally fit although i cant be sure as i have no guard to measure it by
What brand tyre were they, 235's must be becoming fairly limited in the 235x15 by now.
Cheers,

liam i also have a 4in offset, and i would say that i could probally fit a 265 or a 275 under my guards,my gut tells me the diff is narrower than the standard lh.
you are quite welcome to come over to my place and try one of my wheels before you purchase your tyres.......give me a call 0412740116
i presume you live in melbourne?///////

I certainly do live in melbourne. Only problem is my rear pattern is still Ford, it wasn't changed over when the 9" was fitted so the rims wouldn't fit anyway. I wouldn't mind coming and have a geez and making some measurements tho if thats alright? Thanks heaps for the offer of help.
