Does anyone actually have a proper LX wiring diagram from the LX workshop manual? Like the LH one I've uploaded.

'to be used in conjunction with LH diagram'.

You may want to post the LH diagram here as well as no doubt the two threads will separate with further discussion.

I used that Gregorys supplement for a lot of this so it may not be 100% - If you spot any errors please let me know and I'll fix them. I'm also starting work on a full colour U21 option Cluster diagram for LH & LX and will upload that soon. B)

Hi Guys.

Does anyone have an A9X factory supplement of some type which shows the extra wiring for the electric radiator cooling fan ?

Hi Dr Terry,

Something like this?

Cheers Kev

I've got that in the parts book. What I mean is a schematic diagram as above.

There are only 4 wires, so we might have get UCgazman to draw one up, as he did when he re-drew the LX one.

The circuit is pretty simple.

AFAIK there is a thick red wire (12v supply) from the alternator bolt, a thinner pink wire from the idle stop solenoid (piggy back plugs) to supply the relay coil.

The 2 'unknowns' would be the thin wire to the temp switch at the radiator to earth out the relay & the thick supply wire from the relay to the fan motor itself.

I'm not sure how they earth the fan motor, whether it's thru its own case or a separate (thick black ?) earth wire to a body bolt nearby.

Can anyone out there with a real A9X post some pictures.

Dr Terry

Pics will help a lot. Does anyone know the part no for the radiator switch?
