Had a bloody brilliant day. Only got around half the paddock though. Spent lots of time talking to people about my car and others about theirs. One day is just not enough. I might go along on the cruise next time.
Last ones out of the gate.
Cheers,
Liz

This pic is not mine Laurie,I got it off FB somewhere. Credit to the owner.
A slightly embarrassing pic of the day 236 Torana owners turned up to a daytime movie at the drive-in, only to find out it was a gee up, started by some Ford guys! lol

I was going to come and say high, but you were caught up with a self proclaimed expert telling you that your car had the wrong fuel lines. You've got to laugh at all the people that want to share their opinions whether you want to hear it or not. I had a guy telling me that I should get some flutes airbrushed onto my LJ S model. He must have been on some strong gear, I think that he actually thought that it was a good idea. If he wasn't chewing my ear off I would have been laughing at him.

The whole weekend was a blur for me.......I am still very tired. Great event as usual and good to catch up with all the regular suspects :-)

Hi JD,
You could've barged in, I was hoping to catch up with a few forum members.
I do have a fuzzy memory of being told about the fuel lines. Mostly I got some really nice comments, which was surprising seeing as I didn't do a very good job of washing it. Got in it on Sunday morning and realised that the glass was dirty, oh well.
Airbrushing flutes!!! Hahahaha. Now that's the funniest thing I've heard all weekend. I did get a marriage proposal though, that was pretty funny
Had an absolute ball. Still buzzing!
Cheers,
Liz

Yes, airbrushing flutes is an out there idea and for anyone who knows what my car looks like would understand that the idea is even more ludicrous. There's not many LJ S models that look as stock as mine upon first glance.
I'd be surprised if I didn't come and look at your car, I do seem to gravitate towards the little stockies, even if they turn out to be a sleeper.
Cheers,
Liz
