Good stuff Marty
i lucked out on a bed for you unless i kick Skap out on his arse
Careful. You could be mistaken for a 60's water bed with a shag pile rug on it
Ya might wake up with Marty curled up on ya
lol

G'day guys, I've bought my plane ticket and I'm coming over!
I know everything's sold out but I'm hoping to scab a bunk bed. Not looking for a free ride and happy to pay my share.
I don't take up much space and Gene and my wife say I don't snore.
Looking forward to catching up with all the boys again.
Wahooo, can't wait.

Chris
So you are a Toranafest "virgin"
I've been going since 2008 and have made many friends and every Toranafest weekend is better than the last one
I don't know how the HVTC do it BUT they do
Definitely not a "SummerNats" type event AND definitely not one to miss for the Torana enthusiast

Only 10 days left to pre enter Toranafest!!
There's only so many car spaces and we are well on the way to filling them.
If you haven't entered yet, sooner is better than later.

G'day All
As one grows older, one's memory tends to fade a bit so I thought I would throw up a few pics from my previous Toranafests
2008
AND
Oh, and there were some Toranas there causing a traffic jam
2009
And yet another bloody traffic jam
And a high view of the Fest
2010
This was a strange one ie the photo tells all
Even Elvis turned up
2011
Not a bad line-up
Cisco was there with his trademark Mexican hat
AND he had an interview with some old fart
2012
Gotta teach'em young
Not quite sure how this photo got on my list of memories
2013
This became a bit of an arm wrestle to work out what to do with your spare time
A lovely lady was there to share her memories
Two blokes were too tight to book a room so they slept in their A9X's
Now jump 2 years to biennial 2015 Toranafest
At the Toranafest cruise, one fella had forgotten where he parked his Torana
Yes, that's him on the left scratching his head
AND no wonder he couldn't find it, bloody Toranas every where
No need to sneak up behind someone and scare the living be-jesus out of ya, eh Ned
Three famous faces and one photo-bomber
Now that lot of photos helped to jog my fading memory on why I love going to Toranafest

G'day All
If I can get it up there, I am bringing a Hatchback to be auctioned off on the Friday Meet 'n Greet mine auction for Ronald McDonald House
Now it is not your every day Hatchback and it does have a crack in the windscreen and also one in the back window, oh and yes, another one over the roof

It has been carved using a chainsaw by my wife's cousins father in Narranderra and I have oiled it with Linseed Oil
Measures 66cm long x 26cm wide x 22cm tall and at 17.2 kg, it is fur king heavy
Reason for the crack is it was carved from green wood ie newly cut
Carving from dried wood is much harder and still would have had cracks in it
Obviously this is a one off piece as Allan does not carve cars but mainly animal figures
He carved a snake for us from a forked piece of wood making the snake to appear to be rising it's head from a branch
Remember this auction is for Ronald McDonald House so please dig deep in those pockets and support a worthy cause
