I have a 8/74 SLR 5000. What part number should be stamped on the Rochester carby?

Thanks Green73

7043283 or 7043284 depending if it is manual or auto. It will be dated somewhere around May 1974 give or take a month or two. The auto carby is pretty easy to find as every auto 308 HQ and early HJ had one, but L31 M21 cars are pretty rare in a Holden (and non-existent in a Statesman apart from the single L31 M21 HQ Statesman made) outside GTS and Sandman so far less of them around.

Brad, that is a post 12/74 HJ, LH and early LX 308 carby, far easier to find as they are all the same so just need one from a Statesman or Holden 308.
