Bazza, it will be paint code 568 13134. Trim combo 1821 Glacier White.

Correct - Chateau would also be 567 prefixed. It doesn't matter though as the enquirer isn't taking it any further.

Metro Motors Morley WA 865 is much more contemporary. I have 865 as Boyded Pty Ltd - 236 - 242 South Terrace Bankstown NSW from 1969 to at least mid- 1973

Hi guys, was getting into my torana today and as I was pulling out the carpet I found a long narrow I.D plate, is it one of the two that is missing off the rad support? its a bit rough around the rivet holes and the numbers are 8D11dl255551J is that the V.I.N? the back of the other plate does have 5551 scratched in it like Pete and Anthony said, cheers Greg

This final spec XU-1 being shown as Sydney order issue matches with first hand information I have about GTR's being fitted with XU-1 engines at Sydney for Police orders.
( I was critisized, claiming that no Toranas were assembled at Sydney, it seems there is a bit more to learn here! )
There is also information that no later than August final changes were to occurr, and that all changes were to occurr at the same time, no later than August, the only ones which did not have the upgrades would have been individual carry over production XU-1's
