Brisbane PSN's (VIN numbers) are in the range from H1 through to H4.
Sydney PSN's (VIN numbers) are in the range from H5 through to H9.

Seriously, a Brisbane PSN in the Sydney records?
Agree Dave, load of BS. There is 1 x LJ recorded as a Pagewood LJ but it is an obvious error as H845755 is a HJ Kingswood wagon with 202 and 3spd box completed in March 1975. My guess is 99.9% sure to be H245755 which is in the warranty records, same build spec GTR same build date. Someone has stuffed up and not removed the original record.
H286465 is not in the service/warranty records, yet it is a stock order. So either it was not sold at the time the LC/LJ report was done or it was never sold with warranty or it was never registered or it was deleted from the mainframe. I have found a few cars like this over the years, I think this is the 3rd such XU1 but I suppose that makes some sense as it is a car more likely to be raced that others.

Hi
I believe the forum got a legal letter from the publishers about breach of copyright for displaying some of this material.

Hahahahaha, a HJ Kingswood (GTR) 202 3spd wagon. You're right Craig, this stuff should be in the conspiracy theory thread.
Thanks for that insight yel327.
Cheers
Dave.

Hi Anthony
It may only be coincidence or some kind of mix-up, but H245755 was a GTR completed on 23/8/72

Anthony, as we all know, the warranty service records contain mistakes and that 'so called' Pagewood GTR is just another mistake.
In 1972 Pagewood PSN's would not have reached the 8xxxxx's. As yel327 has already informed us H845755 is a 1975 HJ Kingswood station wagon.

dead xu2 drivers sounds a bit far fetched, and (estimating) 13.9 is a pretty exact (estimate), I,M,O anyway

My guess 12.9 Second would be about right for a LJ XU2, as Ian Tate built one for a young guy to the same specs as the Pink LJ GTR V8 Prototype, and the young guy used to drag it at Calder and get 12.9 to 13 seconds, the pink car had a big cam and worked heads and blueprinted and balanced and the XW7 parts in it, I doubt the purple one had that stuff, so 13.9 sounds ok to me.

There may have been a V8 GTR at Pagewood, but I seriously doubt it is the one in the service/warranty report as it is an impossible PSN for an LJ, it is an obvious mistake. 000 is there as there was no dealer code for the "mistake", IBM mainframe had to have something in the fields and if nothing entered it was 000. S is most likely a default field for the PSN. If there is any discernable fact in that letter Al the fact the car was never registered may be a hint as to why if it was a Pagewood assembly it isn't in the report. My guess is that if the car was there it was an Elizabeth or Acacia Ridge assembly as it is hard to believe they actually both built and assembled a single LJ at Pagewood where there were no others, so they needed the jigs to put the body together, and then the tools needed to actually assemble the car. Yes they did LC's but that was a long time prior, and a V8 LJ would surely have been done in 1972 not 1973. You never know though.

Hi yel327
My bet, Pagewood ordered a Adelaide or Brisbane built LJ GTR or XU1 and on the Warranty List the dealer is 000 S, I will have to suss the Vin Disc out on the Adelaide and Brisbane Cars (82911) to see how many 000 S ones there are, unless Bazza has done it etc, I doubt Pagewood built any LJ's, but maybe got some 82911's sent there and that's why there is 000 S ones.

That 000 S will be meaningless Al, as the car is obviously a database entry error that hasn't been deleted. 000 is the default data in the machine where no data is entered. S will be the default entry for a Pagewood PSN unless another code is entered. I agree if a real car ordered by Pagewood was on the report it'd be 000 S but not this one.

Found L201278 Adelaide build GTR with dealer code 000S completed 28/04/1972.
This one fits the bill as 000S cars were normally supplied by Acacia Ridge.
