I've seen so many topics on the SL/T here over the years I've lost count.

I put a turbo on the wife's LX SS Hatch with a 202 back in 79, went like the clappers and was great for towing the ski boat.
biggest problem was getting clutch right

He might be making a J-pipe for Toranas by now. Or you could buy the rest and get one made I guess. He's been around for a while.

Strange that they don't do them to fit Toranas? I would think that there is more tough 6 Toranas than Commodores or Kingswoods together. Tough red 6's don't look right in full size Holden's to me.

GMH did a pair of those in HX, a coupe and a sedan. At least the sedan had a turbo on it, have never seen much about the coupe (which I think was a re-use of the Tuxedo black HX coupe done for a GMH milestone).
Imagine again. A silver mink with red trim HK GTS, optioned with an M21 (heavy duty) 4spd, and dealer fitted with a Salisbury 3.36 LSD rear axle (not optional behind a 6cyl in HK). Fitted with one of these turbo kits. The 186S with turbo would probably have gone better than a pollution 202! Would give most HK-HG a run for their money.

"Will Not fit HD to HR or Torranas"
A good education didn't do him no harm.

EFI manifold doesn't fit under the bonnet is probably the reason. I can understand why you wouldn't put one in a Kingswood (or any other Holden/Statesman) as a good SBC is probably far better and easier, but in the far smaller Commodore it'd be pretty cool thing and might be cost effective compared to stroking and working a 308.
The VK EFI manifold will fit under a UC bonnet I think you'll find yel. I've heard of a few -

I tried to fit a VK EFI engine into my LX years ago and the bonnet wouldn't close, UC might have a bit more room.

I think the problem with his kits for Torana and HD-R is the J-pipe / dump pipe set'up' He uses the 12 port cast iron manifold.
But LH-X bonnet sounds like it needs a hole too.
Does the HQ engine mount trick work for 6's ?
