Thanks for your Thread & Information. I have found a Commodore T5 & XF T5 and plan on swapping extension housings etc, after having the donor box checked out.

As always great information available here

Thanks again

I'm looking at doing a V8 conversion at some point in the near future and want to run a manual box. I can't seem to find much in the way of XF T5's, will any other Falcon T5 rear extension housing work?

Hawk, look back at my post a few days ago about Chev V6 and Supra box to suit LJ. It is still on Gumtree, if you are nearby to the seller you might get a cash bargain. Depending upon what V8 and what clutch actuation you chose to run this might be cheap. I can’t see if the bellhousing is multi-pattern or not but at least it would suit a 308 auto TH pattern block or a SBC. If it has Holden pattern as well it will allow 253 and Holden pattern 308. It’ll be push fork probably so would suit a hydraulic setup in a UC. Sell the V6 off or even use it to get everything fitted and working if you plan to fit a SBC, mounts, radiator, throttle etc are the same as a SBC - only the exhaust is different. Sump will work in a UC if it’s been in an LC.

Sadly they are both in the wrong state for me.I'll probably get the diff sorted first.

Heath, I'll message Brad at some point and see how he's going.

So anything from XF to EL should be usable for the rear extension?
