Would like to know if adjuster goes up the top or bottom.

The adjuster should be on the belt that mounts to the top of the inner rear qtr.

My 4/73 has always had the front seat belt adjusters on the section of belt that mounts to the upper inner rear qtr.

Yes that's the same as mine, only difference that is Adelaide and mine is Brisbane.

Mmm interesting Tonys 73 XU1 the adjuster is on the bottom we were only talking about this the other night on Dave I forum

Front lap sash belts should be set up the same as the rear lap sash belts. Reach up over the shoulder to access the adjuster with one hand and pull the belt with the other hand.

That's the way I have them set up now,at least the adjuster won't wear out the paint on the bottom seat bracket.Front lap sash belts should be set up the same as the rear lap sash belts. Reach up over the shoulder to access the adjuster with one hand and pull the belt with the other hand.
