I made the decision over a year ago to buy a VF Commodore before they disappear altogether. My brother in law works at a dealer and rang to let me know that if I wanted to order a new SSV Redline, it has to be done this week. So for $63,000 I can get a manual with $1200 bucks worth of options in "Son of a gun Grey".

I told him I would sleep on it and let him know tomorrow. Then I started to have a look at what was in other car yards, and now I am a bit torn as I could get a 2013 GTS with 37,000 kays on the clock for $67,992 https://www.carsales...-14625330/?Cr=4

Or I could save myself near ten grand and get a 2015 Clubbie with 6,000 kays on the clock for $55,000, but I'm not sure what extras the 2017 VF gets over the 2015 VF. https://www.carsguid...c515c6c362#pos6

I would love a GTS, but it's white and 4 years old. Between myself and the missus, we will rack up 25,000 country kays a year, and I don't know how reliable the supercharger would be once it gets up around 200,000 kays. But it does have Magnetic Ride Control which is a big plus in my book. The Clubsport is cheaper, and the badges alone will probably give it better resale (way) down the track. Or do I keep trundling around in the trusty 360,000 kay old 2006 100 series Landcruiser that I despise so much every time I want to pass a roadtrain? Seventy grand is a shipload of money. I'm not expecting anyone to make up my mind for me, but anyone with experience in any of these cars is welcome to offer bouquets or brickbats.
