Yep it was Anne.

This bloke worked on the assembly line at Acacia Ridge where they were knocking together Gemini's in 1980. Why is he so happy to have a helmet with piped in air, communications, and music? (He wasn't painting)

Torana LJ 2dr seat back rattle. Friction plates added to assembly at four mounting points.

Quick rewind please guys

What was this rattle fix? Where & what exactly are the plates fitted to?

The passenger seat in the nanna rattles!

Must have a look at it!

Cheers

Yeah they are fitted to mine too but dont do much.

I havent tried repositioning any of it yet but as a temp fix i put some heat shrink on the pin that the safety lock hooks onto.

Will look at it more when i pull the seats out to put carpet in

The car lives here in Brisbane but has literally 'been everywhere man'. :)

On it's fourth engine now I believe.

I think the wagon now has been re bodied somewhere along the way. I remember Mr Ling was the owner. I also worked with Frank Manley the owner of the monaro at the DMR in Hobart in the 80's. He used to bring the monaro to work some times. He still owns it today.
