My other project car for those with an added passion outside the world of Toranas...

1972 VH 770SE E55 Charger, only of only 126 built with the American Sourced 340 CU in 4 BBL engine that was supposed to go into the R/T E55 to compete with the Phase 4 Falcons and V8 XU-1 LJ.  Shame Chrysler canned their racing division before it ever got off the ground because even in its current state it goes like the clappers and sounds amazing.

Giving her a full factory restoration.

They are a great car the Charger. I have a 265 VJ 770 myself. Yours must go great as even mine with a 265 a 4 barrel, pacemaker extractors, mild cam and a little head porting ran a 15.6 with 2.92 diff gears and a standard auto. With lower gears and a high stall it would run in the 14's easy not bad for a original 1975 bottom end, cheers Aaron.

Looks like a nice solid original car Mark. There is one in Collie that hasn't been out of the shed since about 1993 with a single blow through turbo. It was the quickest thing around there in the 80s.

Nice Craig. My old lady used to have a 71 Charger with 245 and 3 speed floorshift in Orange colour. Was an awesome car that she bought for $800 in about 1983 from Garry and Warren Smith in Sunshine. She traded it in on a piece of crap 4cyl VB or VC wagon in the late 80's and got $800 trade in for it. Wish I still had that car as I learnt to drive a manual in that beast. Don't think I have any photo's of it either.

Didn't really know that this model existed, but not very in touch with Mopar stuff!

Very cool.

When I was a teenager in Adelaide a guy arround the corner had one (same light green) which had a new process 4 speed in his, really cool car, I think they only came with auto's, but yes they had the steel crank 340 in them with the W port heads, same motor as the American 6 pack road runner version with a 4 barrel instead.
