G'day All
Well what can you say about the Saturday Cruise to the Drive-in with 236 creating such a colourful magnificent site along the way
AND in Maitland, a town "west" of Newcastle, the indians were lining up on the hill to see the Toranas get on their way
See Told ya there were indians there and I'm fairly sure one was from the Mohican tribe with this Mohawk hair cut
Now I am thinking these drirections for the cruise seem to be a bit toooooo long
Old Chinese saying, "Many hands make light work" or in this case, make the carby work
I don't think these two good lookin' fellas should have been allowed in our staging area as there good looks upstaged most of us, well me at least
Now ladies and gentlemen, start your indians, um injuns, oh I mean engines
Before they got going, this young lady thought the sun shone out the exhaust pipe of this little beauty so she had to get a pic
For me, the most heart warming moment of the cruise was this lovely young lady who was giving us a great welcome to the drive up the road to the Drive-in
Just turn left and turn off your lights as you go into the Drive-in
Hey mate, ain't you suppose to be collecting the entry money to the Drive-in
See, told ya, this one snuck in without paying and I bet there is a couple of freeloaders in the boot
To describe the line-up from the Drive-in entrance to the main road as MAGNIFICENT would be understating it
That was at the entrance
This at the bend
This is after the bend
AND this from the main road just before the road to the Drive-in
Last one in is a rotten egg
AND yes, he was the last in to make up this fantasmagorical site
I wonder how many Drive-ins this young lady has been too
It sure brought back many memories for me and my younger days when I went to the Lakeline Drive-in at Kanahooka and Skyline, Fairy Meadow both in Wollongong area, Dundas drive-in, Sydney and the last one was at Young.
