Top right... Its pretty obvious that they needed it to taxi the drivers to the pits when they are getting ready to race the 2 doors.

Is there a reason that all the cars face forward except the one over the truck cab? 

Its the same in the old and the new pic, which makes me think theres a reason, or a true replication of what they used to do.

Anyone notice that the cars with side trim (top middle & front) don't appear to have front guard flutes ?

That's because three of those six are Torana S models.

They also don't have the stainless door belt moldings under the windows or the blackouts on the rear 1/4 window and door frames.

Middle and front cars on top row and rear car on bottom row.
