I thought I read some where on this forum that the Torana LH/LX was Australian designed ?. Maybe even first Australian designed and manufactured vehicle ??. What was the HK/T/G design based on ??. Surely some American Bus. I could be wrong. But if I am right I would like to see someone photo shop a LH/X coupe to the same length as it older brother. Both vehicles in the same colour. Body shape and lines would be interesting. Maybe if similar the hatchback was based on the HK Monaro ?

Early design here. Looks more LJ than LH.

Hey Laurie, yeah I see what your saying. I think the side view with the LH/LX would show the similar lines. Stretching the Torrie or shorten the HK. Anyone think there similar design ?.

I started playing around with what Id like. Not sure legalities of partial bumper. Not sure that particular LED lights are the ones, especially since I will prefer blue.

Thanks!

Ill have a look for you.  I think different people want different outcomes.  Some are trying to create originals, others are happy to go towards new technology and design.

Everyone has different taste.

Finding suitable light images is one thing.  Rip them out and change to totally different I think.  LED is too industrial in rectangle.  The UC lights are too big and need reducing by >30%.  Better still, a contemporary LED style.

That looks cool, maybe better than the originals. What can you do with a WB headlights ? Only ask because I have one. I have been thinking of making a roller grill out of an old caprice grill. Small cut sections joined at the back that cover the headlights when not in use.
