Had a bit of spare time last week and finally got around to folding up a section for the bottom of a hatchback door. Luckily I have an old door sitting around with no skin on it so it was ideal for taking measurements from. The worst rust sections on these doors are the front corners so I made a prototype section. Stupid me clamped it to the door to make it easier to weld only to find that I welded it to the door and butchered it a bit getting it off but it will give people an idea of what I was trying to make. Just have to work on the swage line on the inside where the door trim sits. Any thoughts on these?
