Trawling around last night and I came across a couple of pics that were taken at Zupps Aspley early in 1975. The photographer was capturing a new Camaro and Cadillac, but in the background is a new Barbados L34. I don't know how many they would have been allocated, (eyepeelers Chrome Yellow one came from there as well) but there is a fair chance that it could be mine.

Thanks to eyepeelers research, it looks like Zupps Aspley had 5 L34s on their books. 2 Chrome Yellow. 1 Glacier White. 1 unknown. and 1 Barbados Green. I am bloody stoked!!!!

Those are some cool picks. There would be some OH&S people shaking their heads in disbelief that the guys riding on the back of the Beddy actually survived their moment of madness.

There can't be that many Royal Plum SS hatch's around either. Maybe we can find the owner of that one as well.

Back when it was exciting to drive past a car yard,  to see what new model had arrived,  to see what used cars were there, to actually be able to tell the difference between different models

 

these days  assuming you can see past 3 gazzillion  flags and banners  all the cars look the same
