Hi Guys,

 

So I just found out my Grandma's brother in law used to race Speedway and his family are looking for pictures to make up an album for him.

 

This is copied direct from Facebook, I'm hoping someone has something.

 

"Would anyone have photos or news clippings of Mervyn Waters, at Forrestfield Speedway? He drove car 190 in the 60' & 70's.

 

His mechanic was Owen Graieg.

 

Uncle Merv was a great driver and won quite a few trophies.

 

We are trying to put together an album for him and are hoping we can get hold of some images. Thanks"

 

 

Would appreciate any pics you might have, if you can't post them here, PM and I will give you my email address.

 

Even if you don't have pics of his car, but of Forrestfield Speedway, that would be awesome.

No idea Col.

 

Not much help I know, but don't have much to go on.

It was an FJ or FC Holden.

I can't find any pictures of it :-(
