Just watching the inaugural Shannons Nationals at The Bend Motorsport Park on SBS Speedweek.

Inspired by some of the world’s most iconic race circuits, The Bend’s motor racing circuit will be Australia’s only circuit to comply with the latest FIA Grade 2 and FIM Category A standards. 

 

At 7.77 kilometres in its maximum configuration, The Bend combines technical corners, fast flowing sections and an aggregate rise and fall of 85 metres to ensure exciting racing and an enjoyable drive. The track design is unique in offering 8 circuit configurations constructed with all forms of motorsport in mind.

Have seen incar video, the 85metres is not very noticeable.
Im sure if in the car it would feel different then.

Time Attack event was hugely popular while back. Big number of cars and drivers. Many more spectators than anticipated. Graders levelled paddocks while people waited then parked Group I know there competing very happy with facilities.

 We did the first official race meeting at The Bend last month so for something a little different heres a lap looking out the R end of the Torana , will give you an idea of elevations ....
