We are in the period race cars...19 in class.
Michael Turner and the Janson A9X is in Invited Class...Some wanker name P.Brock is up against him in a A9x ! :spoton:

Greg, As both my brother and I worked for Frank in the race period..him with the A50-53, I just sent this email..I am busting to see the A50 in the flesh again..Derek and Peter would be proud it has survived! (Hughesy was a character..took the back tarp off the race truck to the local laundroMat to wash it..ending up bedding the bird running it in the backroom while he waited!!)

Having to race against Brock is like having to fight against Mike Tyson! :cry:

He has a couple of advantages - Ability, familiarity, experience and it's probably not his car!

Oh well, at least the car will get to see how it should be driven - If I can get within 4 seconds of his worst time I'd be amazed!

haha geez Rory, sounds like Brock's rubbed you the wrong way at some point..... was there a particular incident?

I've never met the guy, so I cant comment on his personality, but u gotta at least respect the results....

Trying to get someone to weld some brackets in the front corners for the chassis kit..no one wants to know,...and I am offering $$$!!..It will happen...Havent heard from Michael (Janson A9X)..probably doing all those last minute things I am up to...A1 is staying with us on Friday night..hope he brings his ear plugs...Should have the truck for transport by then if SHE has her way..save towing the trailer..Brakeshoe at Yokohama is arranging two new A032Rs for me for spares just in case..After this I will swap all the race tyres over to the 6 13 x 7 hotwires and paint the centres black to blend in..should look OK. Looking good and getting closer!! :spoton:

We will be leaving here sparrows on Friday, Michael came back..he is getting all his shit together..Dont know if he has a partner or not..might fit you there..we will find somewhere.maybe darren has a floor..have to stop at Currumbin to pick up 2 13 x 7 hotwires as spares for the set I have..
