Posting photos beware

I was just about to post pics of my new LH rebuild project and realised the images were too large. I checked the properties of the images to resize them. It was at this point i saw that my phone had gps tagged the location of the photos, i.e. my garage address.
Please be warned that this can lead a savvy theif right to your door.
If you take photos with a phone, turn off the gps or better still use an old school digital camera.
Thanks and stay safe

Good point Phil. I have only just bought my first smart phone so I have a lot to learn. I have mates who won't let people in their sheds with phones.

Be good too if this forum SW could automatically strip out the location data within the photo as they are uploaded in case someone forgets! Admins - is that possible?

Not only phones, but some cameras (digital) have GPS & wifi transfer, just make sure these features are turned off
