Shit pic, sorry, but here's how she sits at the moment -
Have been doing a bit of work on the front guard, it came up pretty alright.
I need to weld up a few holes around the place, but Dad got rid of the MIG... Don't ask.
And I found more rust
Just sanding and filling around the place.
I've also decided to leave the 'Torana' badges on the car, but remove the '2850' and 'S' badges.

Option 1: Dash pad recovered/painted creamy brown to match seats, dash metal painted Purr Pull, dark brown carpet -
Option 2: Lighter dash pad, original brown dash metal, dark brown carpet -
Option 3: Stock brown dash pad, metal painted Purr Pull, dark carpet -
Option 4: Stock everything, dark carpet -
Option 5: Stock everything, medium carpet -
I've pretty much made my mind up with the dark carpet, but if I keep the dash original I will probably go a slightly lighter shade to match. I also plan to use a new style Autotecnica steerer, and I might paint the insert(s) Purr Pull to match the dash... Something like one of these, but with Purr Pull instead of Red or Blue...
Any criticism more than welcome

If you had exposed strips on the tops of the door in purpull then the purple dash would go, but imo the purple and brown dashes are too crash hot.

I don't want to add another colour (black) into the interior...

I dont know how well brown works with the retro look, its a very 70's colour... I would recommend black carpet, black lower dash... then the light cream dash pad, console etc...

thats probably the only picture of the car together that i have (interior shot wise)
or that one....
neither really show it all, but you get the idea.
Adding black to the interior isnt really adding another colour as you would have black carpet anyway.

re: Black carpet etc, I won't be painting blackouts on the car... So it is still adding a new colour into the car.
With Purr Pull on the top of the doors -
and Black carpet/lower dash -

I really like the idea you have here, it would look good if it was realWith Purr Pull on the top of the doors -
on another note, since the interior is in good nick you could always sell it and put the money towards the trim you really want, but I am not a fan of grey interiors

I think that if I was painting the sills etc black, the black carpet would work better. And the reason that I'm not painting blackouts is that I want a: to keep it a bit more original and b; to make it a little bit different from the majority. I'm also not adding flutes to the guards, and I'm leaving the 'Torana' badges on.
EDIT: evil UC, thanks for the input mate. I quite like the interior in it at the moment, but I kind of wish that it was in less pristine condition so that I would feel less guilty about modifying it I'm not a huge fan of black interiors, they seem a bit boring to me. And they get bloody hot in summer!
What I want out of this car is to keep it more or less original, but slightly individual.
