I'd rather a 3.08, Matt, but you can have dibs on the 3.36 if you don't already have one when I change it. Probably won't change for a while, I'd rather bolt a 5 speed in and keep the lower diff

Congrats on the rego, as soon as I get a weekend off footy I'm coming to Adelaide, looking forward to a cruise

Bloody hell. I've learnt a lot in the last couple of years. Finally managed to borrow a board file, so I've been getting stuck into the rear left quarter. Faaark, it looks like it has been snowing for 3 days in the shed, going by the amount of bog dust on the ground. I've sanded down 4 or 5mm of bog in some spots to get the thing straight. Looking shitloads better now.

Yeah man. The only reason it isn't in primer is because the weather has been shit for the last week, and when the was good over the weekend I had Grand Final related commitments. Been getting into it flat out with a borrowed board file, got it looking pretty good.

Got a tin of primer that I thought was the wrong shit, turns out to be suitable. Ordered the top coat etc on Friday, should have that soon.

Oh! And I found a little thing called motivation the other day, it makes building a car shitload easier. I just wish I didn't keep running out of it. One of the downsides of living in the country, I can't just ride shotgun on a cruise or check out a car show whenever I want. Things are looking up though.

Surprise surprise, no primer. This whole car is pretty #@$^%&, she's had a hard life. Little dents and shit everywhere. Had a panel beater mate come and have a squiz at it today, he wants to strip it to bare metal and prime it one panel at a time. Makes sense to me.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll get the doors and bonnet stripped and repaired. Bog 'er up, she'll bne right.

I did make a bit of progress today, however. More filling and sanding around the place, and I finally got around to removing the headlining and the glass etc out of the doors.

Still no pics, everyone has seen a half stripped car with bog and baremetal and surface rust and shit everywhere...

You should go back to the first page and read it if you haven't already. It'll help you see how far you've come and remember how keen you were to get it finished.
