Great to see. Think there's a cruise next Sunday. Bring it out and show it off.

Not quite there Ken, I'm calling it Christmas at the moment. Got a few bits on their way from eBay, and a few bits coming in paycheques to come.

Need to sort a clutch for the Celica 5 speed, get the front brakes done and rebuild the rear suspension. All starting to happen though

Glad to see that you can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

But dont get too excited.

We all know about Murphys Law remember.

But I have insight on a better law than good ole Murphy.

And its an easy one to remember.

Its O'Tooles Law.

Murphy was an optimist.

But good luck getting the last jobs ticked off the list.

Cheers

Rob

Yeah I'm well aware of Murphy and his mates!

Cheers Dan. Been a long time coming, I knew the stars would align eventually and I'd be able to get stuck in though.

Still collecting brake bits... Got the calipers rebuilt, together and fitted though. Might get keen tonight and drill some holes for the booster bracket and get that sorted out.

Currently about $600 into these front brakes, but I think I have everything now...

Hmmmm... maybe some Vented rotors & 4-Pots would have been the go after all, lol.

Stop sending me photos, and put them here instead, you silly sausage.

I'll resize some pics and get them here tonight

We're getting there... Changed my mind with the brakes and have gone for Wilwood 4 pot calipers on vented P76 rotors on the front, and I've slapped a cut down BW78 out of an EF XR6 in the back.

Running Ford stud pattern, I bought a set of Mawers but have since sold them and will be running new billet Mawer replicas in, 15x7 on the front and 15x8 on the back.

I've now owned the car and been a member here for over half of my life... Unreal.

Little bit of motivation in the latest Street Machine!

My trailing arms are now boxed, bushed and painted, I've bought a much nicer pair of bumpers, and found my clutch pedal and cable in a box of stuff that I'd lost for a decade or so.

Trial fit the clutch last night, cleaned up and painted the pedal and I'll fit it properly tonight.

Cleaned up, trimmed and painted the bumper irons the other day, just need to polish the new bumpers and they can go on.

Found a coil so I'm fairly sure I've got everything I need to get the motor running this weekend which should be nice...

Need to clean up the gearbox crossmember, I'll bring it in to work at some point this week to finish making it fit the 5 speed.

Diff needs another cleanup and a squirt of paint before I send it off to get the centre and everything dialled in, then I can fit it and get a measurement to get the tailshaft built. I've almost finished sorting the handbrake out.

I've bought almost enough Simmons bits to make a set that fits now, just need a pair of outer bands for the rear.

Things are happening.
