I'm only home for 2 days at a time, usually.
Probly about 10 hours all up... Keep in mind we only did one guard and half of the nosecone...

I need to find another LC/LJ and get the lower nosecone off of it... The one on the good LJ is rooted, and the one on the shell is rusted to peices.
The lower bit on that is damaged beyond repair...
There is no damage to Chassis rails or anything, thank god. It only damaged the outer panels.

Do you don't need to find another whole car; just next time someone is wrecking one ask them to cut it out for you and make them an offer. Too easy

im not sure on how the toranas setup is but if its like hk or hqs then i advise this!
you know how u have a pipe that drains the water from the vents infront of the windscreen? well for some cheaper reason holden cut them off short (im taking a stab in the dark abuot this due to the rust that appers there in torries!)
if you can go to bunnings and grab a bit of clear plastic pipe and run it all the way down just passed the gaurd therefore no water is touching the gaurd therefore no rust
(my dad did this to his hk monaro and has poured a bucket of water down there and it all went on his foot
the gaurd was nice and dry!
he also had to use a cuople of hose clamps for this
MAKE SURE U FISH OIL IT AS WELL
and im serious just go over board mate air compressor and spray it in every crack there is while that gaurds off
also take off those bloody rubber stoppers on the car as they are murderers to cars (i pulled them off the stato and fond holes all the way through everywhere!
