One of the biggest turn outs in Mt Barker for Wayne
Chapel packed with seated people and they opened the Tea area for people standing
they also printed extra memory cards
very well known, liked and respected man

Wayne
Too many good people have been lost when the scum of the earth go on living a long life
63 just too young
My thoughts are with his family and obviously, many friends

The funeral was a great tribute to the man with a huge turn out of people, local and interstate, Wayne certainly knew a lot of people! Fantastic turn out of Torana,’s on the day including his passion the L34 (3 in total), including his race car that he found and restored back to racing livery (which was his his favourite livery). Attached is a photo from the funeral procession, the best I took - the original is much clearer showing all the cars from the hearse back, I think there was only one Torana behind us. There were a lot of people out the front of their properties as we drove past giving Wayne a send off. He would smiled ear to ear for sure. RIP Wayne.
For those in SA, the Torana Motorsport Club is dedicating the annual Australia Day run in memory of Wayne, this was his favourite day and was always keen to have a run on that day ever since I knew Wayne from the A9X Club in 2006 (he was president at the time). Meeting point is burnside council car park at 0800 for 0830 departure and also Aldgate Pump Hotel at 0900 for 0930 departure for a run to Milang.
