Lol I'm at the same stage as you on my Premier and using the exact same High Fill product! All though it is time consuming and hard work, it does sand very well.

Are you going to put the right front back on it so it doesn't look like an LS?

LE is HX Clay. This is a HJ GTS coupe which had dual headlight nose. HJ LS and HX LE has quad headlight nose.

Ah hah. Thanks Byron. Remember a mate had the LE. Burgundy with gold plastic eg carton wheels, lettering and highlights. Another had a HQ LS, vinyl roof, 202.

HX LE and HJ GTS are about the same in build numbers, both around 600 (606 GTS and somewhere between 580-600 LE (some LE never sold)). HJ LS is the rarest Holden coupe, 337 in total closely followed by HQ GTS350 coupe with 402 made.

Jury is out on that. A HJ GTS coupe is probably the nicest of the HQ updates in any form. Everything works together. Looks heaps nicer than a HJ LS.

They were rubber not plastic, awful things to balance which was why most were disposed of. Most LS had a vinyl roof, it was a delete option. I wrecked 3 x HQ GTS coupes (253 and 308, both auto and a 308 manual) and a HQ LS 253 auto with factory sunshine roof. Worth far more in parts than as whole cars.

What wheels are going on the Cyclamen GTS?

One of the few aftermarket wheels that look OK too especially with that colour. They look nice too with 15” Pontiac RallyeII.

I was offered a HJ coupe shell as good as that once for $250, it was Chamois with black trim. But I didn’t want to risk it as it was clearly stolen. The Pagewood number on the firewall had been bogged over and it had HQ tags on it. Had power windows too.
