Doing all the underneath and inside's first is a great idea, I think I'll do the same, I guess it allows you to get a good feel for how the gun / paint is laying down before you hit the all important big area's!

I just laid down my last (hopefully) coat of high fill on the rear quarters and doors. Lots of sanding then I'll be onto my guide coats.

The other reason for doing the less visible areas first is to avoid getting any overspray on the more visible areas. Keep at it Daz. Good painting weather in Adelaide at last.

Yeah mate as I don’t have a booth I gotta work smart lol not having a massive lot of room I do all the jams inside doors ect then once they are done bolt it all back together and back mask then hit the outside... and yep gives you and idea of how it sits keep at yours mate I know sometimes it gives you the shits lol but hang in there

Spent this week putting all the panels back on getting gaps right next week go over outside again and fix anything I’m not 100% happy with painted the chassis rails and firewall also put the motor and box back in
