ive got an LJ with a stock front end.   ive got my girlock calipers but ive hit a huge snag.  I cant find the bolt size to bolt the calipers to the knuckle.   ive been through the parts manual and and found a part number 6396150 (caliper to knuckle bolt) but because i failed my degree in astro physics im unable to decode that part number in the book.

is anyone able to enlighten me as to the bolt size to mount the calipers to the stubbs.   I am aware they will be HT i just need the size

Thanks in advance

Hi Terry
The part number you supplied 6396150 is for a 4cyl Torana
In the early LJ Parts Catalogue section 8.900 Bolt part number is 181669 7/16 = 20x 1 3/8 size bolt
On the head of bolt has no markings for being high tensile just AJAX UNF (I would put high tensile in for safety reasons )
Cheers
