Hi Guy's,
can someone let me know how wide the tab that runs on the side of the air vents in a hatch is,
including the gap between the console and the side of the air vent.
I hope this makes sense.
Regards Mando.

Hi Ron,
I didn't think I was clear.
I'm after the width of the side of the console that runs up both sides of the centre air vents
including the small gap between the console and the air vent.
Regards Mando.

Thanks Ron,
but no cigar.
Your setup looks a little different to the stock setup.
I've picked up my console from dash original so I can workout what I'm after.
Thanks anyway.

Hi Guy's,
does anyone know where I can get a front windscreen rubber that doesn't come from Rare Spares.
The one I have is crap.
I tried Kingswood country, but theirs comes from Rare Spares as well.

Just curious to see what size exhaust pipe you went with over the diff.
2.5 or 3 inch??
2.5" front to back.
I had to the bulge out the body at the top of the hoop to make it work.
I don't think it would have fitted without that.
You can see some of what was done in the picture.

Thanks Brad,
I bought one from Aveska and it was as bad as the rare spares one.
I got a hold of a windscreen installer, who promised me he could supply a rubber that would be as good as you could get.
I didn't ask where he sourced his rubbers from, but I'm really happy with the rubber and the way it sits against the body.
His name was Fred and he did a fantastic job.

Hi Guy's,
can someone let me know if Torana LX hatches had arm rests in the rear.
If so, does anyone have a set they would sell regardless of condition.
Regards Mando.

If I needed a set, I'd prob make from timber or mdf and trim them as I'm a tight arse.

Hi Jeff. I was going to get mine restored but in the end went to Sash - Prestige Vehicle Compliance MOB. 0408 499546. I think he is in Wollongong from memory. Not cheap but a good product. He does a few Torana interior parts as well as other vehicles. I think the process is he makes the mould then sends it off to Dashboard Doctor in Melbourne to get covered then back to him to trim and finish off, so it takes a while. Cheers Ron

Thanks Ron,
I contacted Sash today.
He makes the rear arm rests and takes 6 - 8 weeks.
At the moment he say's he has about seven sets in production.
The end product looks really good.
He charges 650 + gst + delivery.
Regards Mando.

Early hatches (up to mid '76) had ash trays in the rear armrests and no ashtray in the rear of the centre console.
Try making one of those Matt! Although if mine weren't good I would probably give it a go though lol
