Hi all, I'm no where near this stage but an opportunity has popped up to get some bits and pieces painted and one of them is the side vents. Unfortunately I had to drill out the bottom screw holding them on the car originally, as they were rusted on. To clean out the old screw I've ritually had to redrill the whole thing out and, as per the photo have damaged one of the lugs. I need to sort this out before I give them to the painter so I'm contemplating gluing these nuts on to what is left of the lug, but wondering if anyone has some better/more secure ideas. Thanks in advance. Cheers Ron

Looks like the same idea that holds the tail light lens to the housing.
Run some tape around the lug. Fill with 24hr araldite. Drill and tap a new hole/thread?

JB Plastic Weld epoxy putty might work well for your situation or there is also the option of getting it repaired by a Platics welder. I don't know this mob from a bar of soap but they appear to have the credentials. http://plasticrepair.com.au/
