Correct, 457382M is roughly a year later than 449022M
That VIN tag has quite obviously had the engine & model codes obscured deliberately.

HHS can only verify the details they are given, the reason I asked for the link is because I was hoping to see a scan of the HHS report.

I always thought that HHS had to have all the 3 tag details so I’m stumped as to how it’s come back as legit??

You should be able to tell from the HHS certificate? Wouldn't the report have the full vin & also body number on it?
Yes the report will have all the numbers, however the Vendor hasn't posted a pic of the HHS Certificate.

Correct but as far as I know pictures of the tags are not mandatory so it would be easy provide false info. I might be wrong so I will again ask Ben the requirements for providing the info on a vehicle.

From what I can gather the Chassis Number, Compliance Plate, Body Plate and Engine No all belong together, the damaged VIN plate seems to be the one out of sequence?
The shame of it is, it looks like someone has deliberately damaged a genuine SL/R VIN tag just to put it in this vehicle? It would have been so much better just to leave it off and say it was lost.
So I reckon the details provided to HHS for the report would have been:
Chassis No: ALH025476M
Complianced: 11/74
Engine No: HT27392 (I think... the photo isn't too clear)
VIN: 8D69TE J457382H
Body No: 457382M
Trim: 1890-19X (Mandarin Red with Black trim)
