Hi all
I have a Holden 308 motor which is mated with the above quadrajet. I believe that it is the correct carb for my engine.
I am rebuilding the carb and want to get it working 100%.
I am having issues with the automatic choke setup. It has the divorced choke on the intake which uses heat from the manifold to disengage.
Does anyone have a diagram or pic of how the plumbing for the hot air pipe from manifold to intake. (My choke currently takes too long to disengage).
Also the link rod from the secondary flaps to the plastic choke pulloff was messed with at some point by the previous owner. Does anyone have a pic of this rod? At the moment I find that once started and the pull off is pulling vacuum the bend in the rod does not reach the link on the choke to open the primary flaps sufficiently so that the motor can run nicely, it seems to be getting over choked.
