No. Just that there is a lot of nice Toranas over there with what seems like a pretty small population. Could it be any worse than that of FNQ?

I don’t know about FNQ but lots of people without jobs here and most of these guys have owned their Toranas a long time

Thanks to all the folks who turned up and made it a great day. Yes the track was incredibly sticky and saw a couple of double pluggers blow out.

Heaps of photos up on the Torana West FB page.

Turnout on Sat was a little lower than expected but that is probably cos the weather was a little higher than expected. And to get 40 odd cars out in 40 odd degrees was a superb effort.

I saw a couple of folks there from the forum but it was hard to stop for long - a lot was happening!

Glad you folks enjoyed the event - the photos of the cars on the dragstrip exceeded all our hopes.

ToranaWest will be organising more events soon - at the very least there will be another major get together in 2 years time (off years to GMH owners days).

We may not be able to russle up 450 cars from half of Australia - but to put together 102 cars from 1 isolated state was a pretty fair effort.

Thanks to all who dusted off their cars and came out to play.
