I just ment CV shafts in general.
Any reason you didnt put a IRS setup in? Or just one less thing that needed to be engineered?

The adventra rims are 8 inch wide with a 7 inch backspace.
So should be able to get a decent rim in there.
Few more things to do before I pull it back out and start doing the bodywork.
Still have to get the new front struts made up to bring down the ride height.

With the wide standard track of the Commodore, you'll have a huge stagger front to rear on those wheels haha.
Lotsa dish on one end.

Just stumbled across your build! Love it great work!
My wife has a Cross8 and I've always wondered what it would be like to put the drive train into a Torana! I recall seeing the Monaro AWD conversion on another forum someone mentioned and was intrigued ever since.
Looking forward to watching this come together!

Gearbox crossmember is installed now too.
7 bolts to the body and 1 to the gearbox 🤔🤔 go figger.

Is it possible to run the Adventra drivetrain without the front tailshaft in place?

I have two of them here. Might do some skids in one of them. They understeer clean out of the paddock when in 4wd.

I can remember someone a while back up your way that had someone come and do his brake lines.
Was an absolute nightmare.
May be cheaper to do it yourself even after buying the flaring tool and line straightener.
Cheers

Came from up your way too from memory.

Done my brake lines in stainless - with a double flare
Had the proper tool though and after a few test runs to get it set right they came out great

The quote was for braided lines. Not cheap at 126 + gst and need 6 of them. 2 from master cylinder to abs unit and 4 from abs unit to under the driver's side front guard to a bracket. Will run steel lines from there to each wheel.Done my brake lines in stainless - with a double flare
