Would anyone have any under body photos of the bucket seat mounting plates on a factory lh or lx? I am changing from bench to bucket seats and need to look at how the mounting plates (bolt point) are positioned.
Thanks
Phil

AFAIK the floor mounting plates are the same .
2 front holes in the body x-member , 2 rear holes in the floor.
Have a look at some of the build threads . Plenty of cars on rotisseries.

They aren't the same. Many, or perhaps all - benchseat cars were missing the inside
The front ones go in that funny box section thing... you could just weld a nut into that area if you wanted, really.
The rear has a nut welded to a load spreading plate... Kinda butchered mine when I did my chassis strengthening, but it looks something like this:
They're located just behind that big member that connects the two chassis rails:

Isn't it only earlier LH that are missing the bucket seat mounts? I thought most later cars had them like all HQ-WB, but early ones were like HK-HG and were only there if the car had bucket seats originally.

Here's a pic of the underside of the captive nuts for the rear bolts and floorpan pic of the captive nuts on the inner cross-member. Hope that helps. Cheers Ron

FWIW and doesn't help your cause but I can say that my bench seat WB had all four nuts in the floor-pan. Cheers Ron
