AFAIK the floor mounting plates are the same . 

 

2 front holes in the body x-member , 2 rear holes in the floor. 

 

Have a look at some of the build threads . Plenty of cars on rotisseries.

They aren't the same. Many, or perhaps all - benchseat cars were missing the inside 

 

The front ones go in that funny box section thing... you could just weld a nut into that area if you wanted, really.

 

The rear has a nut welded to a load spreading plate... Kinda butchered mine when I did my chassis strengthening, but it looks something like this:

They're located just behind that big member that connects the two chassis rails:

Isn't it only earlier LH that are missing the bucket seat mounts? I thought most later cars had them like all HQ-WB, but early ones were like HK-HG and were only there if the car had bucket seats originally.

I saw Rare spares have added seating mount plates and bolts to their inventory. Worth checking out.

Hey mate I'm in the processe of doing this too. I was hoping to find a wreck I could remove the captive nuts/plates from but had no luck. I am now using 3mm plate and wedding nuts to it. The rear mount is going to be easy and straight forward. It will just bolt straight up. The front is nore of a pain. I'm going to make a plate up the same as the rear mount then cut the box section open on 3 sides. Will then fold this up enough to slide the plate in and secure in place. I'll just use some sikalfex and put the bolts in the hild in place. Once done will fold back down and weld up.
I'll get some pics of where I'm at for you tomorrow. Will be jeeb to see how you go about it too.

Here is where I'm at with mine.
With mine being an early LH it has 2 bolts holding doen each corner of the seat so I'm going to stick with that for the mounts I'm putting in.

Excuse the horrible floor. I still have to clean it up from removing the 50x50 box section the last owner put in to mount racing seats.

FWIW and doesn't help your cause but I can say that my bench seat WB had all four nuts in the floor-pan.  Cheers Ron

All HQ-WB did.

A guy at work offered to weld up the brackets for me.
They not pretty but will do the job. Just got to tidy them up and and some paint then they will be good to go.

I managed to do a little more today.
Cleaned up and painted the mounting plates.
They all fitted up pretty well.
I just put a good layer of sikalfex on them then put the bolt through them while it goes off.
Same with the front mount but had to cut the tube running across to get them in. Will be atleast a couple of weeks before i get to any more of it.
Once i can get under the car a bit easier I'll seal the rear mount plate to the floor better then coat in stone guard or something.
Hopefully this helps someone else out.
