Hi all,
I am thinking of removing my dash from my UC Hatch as it has a crack I want to get repaired. Anyone got any tricks or tips in getting this done quickly and efficiently?
thanks

It's pretty basic , like most '70's cars.
Remove the cluster , center piece & glovebox . Couple of screws on the side & a few near the windshield . Out it comes.

Put the screws etc in clearly marked bags and get yourself a workshop manual. It's easy to pull things apart but putting them back together properly is the hard part.

I have a quote from the dashboard doctor in Melbourne so I am thinking of sending it down there. I have a spare dash pad (which is also cracked but not as bad) so the plan is to send that one off for repair then swap it out for the on that is in the car now. Hopefully that way I can put it straight back together without forgetting or losing things!
