Anyone here used Coopers Paint Stripper?
I decided to buy some after seeing some videos and reading a lot of positive reviews.
I purchased 2 litres of stripper, 1 litre of flusher, 2 spray bottles, tap on a lid and the little brush to get me over the free postage value of around $145??

Postage service was excellent and it came from New Zealand.
First test was some chrome GTR badges and my observations are - black paint bubbled easily and quickly with the red taking twice as long. I kept them wet for about 20 mins and using the brush it all came off.

Next was the boot of the car which I had already hit with regular gel paint stripper which got 40% off. The beauty of Coopers is its liquid and is sprayed onto the surface getting into all the hard to reach spots. After 30 mins and repeated sprays I ran the scraper over the area. I didn't notice any better performance than regular stripper removing another 30%.
I also used it on some bumper brackets that I Epotec etched by mistake. I tried general paint stripper a few months ago with no result. This time I tried Coopers stripper and still had no result, a little disappointed. The positive out of this is how strong Epotec is.
My conclusion is
Coopers is better value for money due to how much less you use due to being a liquid. It's paint stripping performance on old cars seems no better than regular stripper. It is probably better suited to timber restoration due to its flusher and delicate nature.
Keen to hear of any other experiences.
Cheers
